Optimising starts even before you put the PC together. Using the right jumper settings/voltage settings and other adjustments based on the hardware components in the PC is not always an easy job.

Further optimising a PC involves more than a quick run of some automated system or software to make settings changes. It starts with knowing and understanding BIOS settings thoroughly and carefully making (sometimes) over 50 adjustments in the BIOS alone to account for the specific hardware in the computer. Then there are the use of right drivers (installed in the right order), numerous other tweaks and even a defragmenting of the hard disk.
