In Sept 2004 this PC received a major revision with the motherboard and processor upgraded to Intel's new standard for high performance machines using LGA775 (775 pin format) and the 925 chipset. It also incorporates new technologies like PCI-Express (16x) delivering double the bandwidth of the best AGP 8x, Corsair performance RAM, dual layer, multi-format DVD writer, and the new version of DDR RAM, DDRII. We took that opportunity to also include the latest in other components - like the world's first 16 MB cache SATA hard disk. It has been revised again several times since then.
