Already
have a monitor?
How
much does a PC cost without the monitor?
It
varies from PC to PC. When you are browsing through the specs of a
PC you'll find the monitor "deduction" price right next
to the description of the monitor.
For online orders simply
un-tick the monitor box and the price of the PC will be reduced by
the relevant value.

If
I tell you the model number of my existing monitor will
you tell me if your PC is compatible with it?
It's
not whether our PC is compatible with your monitor -
it's whether your monitor is compatible with our PC :-)
99.9%
of the monitors in the market today work with our PCs.
You will need to ensure that your monitor runs in SVGA
mode and can run a resolution of at least 800x600 in 16
bit colour.
We
would rather you buy the entire system. It's always the
safest option and you have one company responsible for
your complete PC.

What
if I need the base unit only and don't need the
keyboard, mouse or speakers?
Unlike
the monitors discussed above, with keyboards and mice you
are strongly advised to take the ones we supply even if
you already have your own. Keyboards and mice come in
both AT and PS2 formats. You will need to know which one
yours is. Note also that the converters to convert from
one format to the other don't always work. Also,
keyboards come in different voltages. Not all speakers
work with all soundcards. Play it safe and
let us supply these peripherals.

I
know exactly what I need. I'd still rather not have the
keyboard, mouse and speakers.
I
that case you are looking at a total deduction of
between £8 + vat to £16 + vat depending on the model
number of the PC.
