Quality
You may take most
of these for granted but we don't know of anyone else in the UK
with quality standards this high. But don't just take our word.
When you are comparing prices ask other suppliers about the parts
they use. These
quality standards below exceed those of the best known PC
manufacturers in the UK ... by a wide margin.
- We do not use GTS, Connor,
Fujitsu hard disks. We also
don't use most of the Seagate & Quantum models. There are
several other makes and models that we don't use. This is
not because we have a
reputation for top hard disk performance and we'd like to keep
it that way. We only use specially chosen performance models
from manufacturers like IBM. Very few companies are as fussy
as we are with the hard disks we use.
- We do not use
cheap motherboards. The Asus and Abit are the cream of motherboards. They have an international reputation
for being the best. When we do use other makes they are
carefully selected for quality and performance. We don't use
the traditionally "budget" boards like PC Chips,
"Elite" Group, Jetway etc. Other PC manufacturers cut corners by using
cheaper motherboards.
- The Iiyama
monitors are similarly superior in every respect. Iiyama win
more awards than any other monitor manufacturer. They also
have a superior after sales service and a long history of
producing premium monitors.
- The cases and
power supplies used in the AMD based PCs are specially chosen
for their design and long life. We use AMD approved PSUs for
AMD PCs and Intel approved PSUs for the Pentium 4 PCs.
Unfortunately, even magazine reviewers very often don't
comment/don't know that many of the PCs they reviewed were not
built with properly approved power supplies and other parts.
- Keyboards and
mice are especially important because of the everyday stresses
they endure. We don't use unbranded, cheap keyboards OR mice.
The makes we tend to use are Microsoft/Cherry/Logitech for the more
expensive PCs, and even the budget PCs get at least a
Mitsumi/Genius.
- When we supply
a copy of Windows you get what Microsoft calls the DSP copy
(your guarantee that it's genuine and not some cheaper,
illegal copy). More importantly most of the PCs come with a
full Windows CD and not just a "recover disk".
We could go on
but suffice to say we take great pride in our quality standards
and you therefore get a superior PC.
